Alt Wiener Schnapsmuseum
Ein persönlicher Reiseleiter wird Sie am Eingang des Alten Wiener Patrizierhaus in der Wilhelmstraße 19 in Wiens 12. Bezirk begrüßen. Die Tour beginnt im alten Büro, auch als Comptoir bekannt mit seiner originalen Einrichtung aus dem Jahr 1902. Mit einem kurzen Rückblick der Familiengeschichte werden Sie zurück in die Kaiserzeit mit all seinem Charme versetzt. Dann geht es weiter ins nächste Gebäude, zum Kompositionszimmer. Das Innere dieses Raumes gleicht einer altmodischen Apotheke und hier erfahren Sie die Grundlagen der Herstellung von Schnäpsen und Likören in einer unterhaltsamen Tour.
Zum Abschluss geht es in den Destillationsraum, wo Sie bei einer umfangreichen Verkostung die Dampfdestillationsanlage mit Kupferkesseln bewundern können. Falls Sie keinen Alkohol trinken möchten, reichen wir hausgemachte Säfte.
Der Ausgang führt dann durch einen typischen Alt Wiener Innenhof.

A personal guide will greet you at the entrance of the Old Vienna patrician home at Wilhelmstraße 19 in Viennas 12th District. The tour starts in the old office, also known as the Comptoir, with its original furnishings dating back to 1902. With a brief history of the family, you will be transported back to the Imperial Age with all of its charm. Then its on to the next building, the Composition Room. The interior of this room resembles an old-fashioned apothecary, and here you will discover the basics of making schnapps and liqueurs in an entertaining tour.
Last but not least, you will get a chance to taste a wide variety of schnapps and liqueurs at the bar in the large distillery room with the first steam distillation vessels. Homemade juices are available for our guests who do not drink alcohol. On the way to the exit you'll pass through a typical old Viennese inner courtyard.
